Manifest
Live-action manifesto video for Belagrícola, “Minha Casa é o Campo,” made to move rural audiences in Brazil and also serve audiences abroad. The image of the countryside is the heart of the film, so we scheduled filming for late November, when there would be soybeans in the field. We filmed with our own actor, casting and wardrobe, with a script written together, and delivered 1-minute and 30-second versions, in Portuguese and English, with and without subtitles. Published on YouTube and Instagram, the manifesto has more than 20,000 views.
